Two futures prop firms with documented daily payout structures are MyFundedFutures (MFFU) and Topstep. This comparison covers MFFU’s Rapid plan (Intraday and EOD variants) in the sim-funded stage — where requests can be submitted every 24 hours with a 90/10 profit split and no consistency rule — and Topstep’s Live Funded Account, where daily payouts are unlocked only after a trader earns $150+ net P&L on 30 non-consecutive winning days. Other prop firms are not covered by the documented evidence used here; see Prop Firm Payouts for broader payout comparisons.

What ‘Daily Payout’ Means at a Prop Firm

A ‘daily payout’ at a prop firm means a trader can submit a withdrawal request once every 24 hours rather than waiting for a weekly or bi-weekly cycle. In practice, the term covers two distinct situations documented here: a sim-funded account where payouts are drawn from the firm’s operating funds based on simulated profits, and a live funded account where payouts come from real trading gains after a specific milestone is reached.

According to MyFundedFutures’ payout policy, the Rapid plan (both Intraday and EOD variants) explicitly offers daily payout frequency in the sim-funded stage, with the first request eligible 24 hours after the first trade, subject to buffer and minimum profit requirements.

According to Topstep’s payout policy, daily payouts on the Live Funded Account are a milestone feature — they are not available from day one but are unlocked after 30 non-consecutive winning days with $150+ net P&L each. Understanding this distinction matters before choosing a plan based on payout frequency alone. For a broader look at how payout rules differ across firms, see Prop Firm Payout Rules.

MyFundedFutures Rapid Plan: Daily Payout Structure

According to MFFU’s how-it-works page, the Rapid plan is positioned specifically around daily payouts in the sim-funded stage. Traders keep 90% of simulated profits, with the firm retaining 10%. This 90/10 profit split on Rapid sim-funded plans took effect as of January 12, 2026, according to MFFU’s payout policy.

The Rapid Intraday variant uses an intraday drawdown type, while the Rapid EOD variant uses an EOD trailing drawdown. Neither variant applies a consistency rule, which means there is no requirement for profits to be distributed evenly across trading days before a payout can be requested. This is a meaningful structural difference from plans that impose a consistency target.

The evaluation stage requires a minimum of 2 trading days to pass for the Rapid Intraday plan and 4 days for the Rapid EOD plan. Once in the sim-funded stage, payout requests can be submitted as often as every 24 hours. According to MFFU, approximately 80% of payout requests are auto-approved in under one second. For context on how no-consistency-rule plans compare more broadly, see Prop Firms With No Consistency Rule.

MFFU Rapid Plan: Buffer, Minimums, and Processing Speed

Before the first payout can be requested on the MFFU Rapid plan, a buffer must be cleared. According to MFFU’s payout policy, the required buffer amounts are: $2,100 for the 50k Rapid, $3,100 for the 100k Rapid, and $4,600 for the 150k Rapid (both Intraday and EOD). The first payout is eligible 24 hours after the first trade, provided the buffer and minimum profit requirements are met.

Once the buffer is cleared, the minimum withdrawal per request is $500. This applies to all Rapid plan sizes. As a practical example: a trader on the 50k Rapid who has accumulated $2,600 in simulated profit has cleared the $2,100 buffer and has $500 available above it, making them eligible to request the minimum $500 withdrawal.

Regarding processing speed, according to MFFU, most payout requests are approved instantly. If a manual review is required, processing may take up to 6–12 business hours on weekdays. According to MFFU’s first payout guide, payouts are delivered via Riseworks; U.S. traders may also use Plaid/ACH. After signing first-payout agreements via Riseworks, funds can be withdrawn by bank transfer or cryptocurrency. Topstep Live Funded Account: How Daily Payouts Are Unlocked

According to Topstep’s payout policy, daily payouts on the Live Funded Account (LFA) are not available from the moment the account is activated. They are unlocked only after a trader earns $150+ net P&L on 30 non-consecutive winning days within the LFA. Winning days accumulated in the Express Funded Account (XFA) do not count toward this 30-day total.

Once unlocked, the trader may request as much of the unlocked balance as desired, once per day, with a $125 minimum. There is no dollar cap on LFA payouts after the milestone is reached. However, Topstep notes that requesting a full 100% payout closes the LFA because the balance reaches the Maximum Loss Limit — a practical consequence traders should factor into withdrawal decisions.

Before the 30-winning-day milestone is reached, LFA payouts follow a different cadence: 5 winning days of $150+ net P&L per cycle are required (days do not need to be consecutive), and up to 50% of the account balance can be requested with no dollar cap. After each payout request, the winning day count restarts, and 5 new winning days are needed before the next request. For more detail on Topstep’s payout maximums, see Max Payout Topstep.

Topstep Express Funded Account: Payout Cadence and Caps

Topstep’s Express Funded Account (XFA) does not offer daily payouts. According to Topstep’s payout policy, the XFA operates on two paths with different cycle requirements.

On the Standard Path, a payout requires 5 winning days of $150+ net P&L (non-consecutive) and positive net profit since the last payout. On the Consistency Path, a payout requires 3 trading days with at least 1 trade per day, and the largest single day must not exceed 40% of total net profit. Days lock in at 4:00 PM CT on both paths. The trading day on which a payout is requested does not count toward the next cycle’s day count.

Payout caps apply to XFA accounts by account size. For the Standard Path: $2,000 on a $50k account, $3,000 on a $100k account, and $5,000 on a $150k account. For the Consistency Path: $3,000 on a $50k account, $4,000 on a $100k account, and $6,000 on a $150k account. The profit split is 90/10 on both paths. After each payout on the XFA Standard Path, the Maximum Loss Limit resets to $0 permanently and the 5-day count restarts. The XFA is structured as a stepping stone toward the LFA, where payout caps do not apply. For more on Topstep’s consistency requirements, see Topstep Consistency Rule.

Payout Speed and Delivery Methods

Both firms report fast payout processing, but the mechanisms differ. According to Topstep’s instant payouts page, Topstep reports a 99.26% payout approval rate and an average payout time of under 9 seconds via Aeropay for eligible U.S. traders using real-time payments. Aeropay is available for U.S. bank accounts only. Topstep also reports $1.4 billion paid out to traders in total, though individual results vary.

According to MFFU’s payout policy, most MFFU payout requests are approved instantly, with approximately 80% auto-approved in under one second on the Rapid plan. If a manual review is required, processing may take up to 6–12 business hours on weekdays.

For delivery, MFFU uses Riseworks as its primary payout platform. U.S. traders may also use Plaid/ACH. Funds can be withdrawn via bank transfer or cryptocurrency after agreements are signed on first payout. Topstep uses Aeropay for U.S. bank accounts (instant after approval), with additional options available for international traders. Both firms set a $125 minimum payout, though MFFU’s Rapid plan minimum is $500 per request after clearing the buffer. These processing differences are worth factoring in when daily access to funds is a priority.

Key Conditions and Eligibility Checks Before Requesting

Before submitting a payout request at either firm, several eligibility conditions must be confirmed. For MFFU Rapid (Intraday and EOD) in the sim-funded stage, according to MFFU’s payout policy: the first payout is eligible 24 hours after the first trade; the required buffer must be cleared ($2,100 for 50k, $3,100 for 100k, $4,600 for 150k); and the minimum withdrawal after clearing the buffer is $500. No consistency rule applies on the Rapid plan.

For Topstep’s LFA before the daily payout unlock, according to Topstep’s payout policy: 5 winning days of $150+ net P&L per cycle are required; up to 50% of account balance can be requested; and after each payout, the winning day count restarts. Daily payouts are only available after 30 non-consecutive winning days of $150+ net P&L in the LFA — winning days from the XFA do not count. The minimum payout at Topstep is $125. Payout requests at Topstep are available during CME market hours: Sunday 5 PM CT through Friday 5 PM CT, excluding holidays.

A key risk to note on the Topstep LFA: requesting a full 100% payout closes the account because the balance reaches the Maximum Loss Limit. Traders should also be aware that meeting payout conditions does not exempt an account from other active account rules.
